From 29.05 to 01.06 our team participated on the 2017 Exhibition and Congress for Broadband, Cable & Satellite in Germany, ANGA. Along with 350 other exibitors from 37 countries, ASI team became part of the ANGA picture, getting in touch with 18 000 business visitors. Following the slogan ‘Where Broadband meets Content’ the key topics equally addressed the roll-out of broadband networks and the latest developments in the TV markets. The joint opening discussion with the media congress Medienforum NRW took place under the headline “Gigabit, 4K and Over the Top: Broadband and Media under Disruption“ and was composed with especially high-level representatives of the broadband and media industry. The media topics of the congress agenda were all about AppTV and OTT, HD and UHDTV, DVB-T2, Virtual Reality, Big Data, Personalized TV and copy right. The broadband panel focused on gigabit networks, new cooperation models, DOCSIS 3.1, WiFi, Internet of Things, Smart Home and Smart City. On the third day, the ASI team was attending the Broadband Theme Day where the agenda focused on infrastructure topics and equally addressed cable and fiber network operators. The ASI team was able to meet and share experiences with numerous people from the industry and expanded their vision of what can be done.

It was without doubt a great experience and pleasure to be part of this year’s ANGA and we’re looking forward to meet with our colleagues again on the next year ANGA exhibition and congress.
